Palbit represents Agenda Hi-rEV at the 3rd Meeting of Mobilizing Agendas

Palbit took part in the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Mobilising Agendas for Business Innovation, held at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira, representing the Hi-rEV Mobilising Agenda – Recovery of the Automotive Components Sector, of which it is the lead organisation.
The event brought together the main consortia funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), promoting the sharing of results, best practices and the impact generated by the projects that are driving technological and industrial transformation in Portugal.

As the lead organisation of Hi-rEV, Palbit represented an ecosystem of companies, universities, technology centres and business associations which, over the last four years, have worked together to strengthen the competitiveness and innovative capacity of the national automotive sector.

Innovation for the mobility of the future

The Hi-rEV Agenda was created with the aim of accelerating the development, testing and demonstration of new technologies and manufacturing processes capable of positioning the Portuguese automotive cluster within the global value chains of future mobility. In this context, Palbit has contributed by developing high-performance coated cutting tools, designed to meet the challenges of modern industry with more efficient, sustainable and technologically advanced machining solutions.

A time for reflection and recognition

Taking part in this meeting took on special significance at a time when the Hi-rEV Agenda is drawing to a close, providing an opportunity to reflect on the progress made and the impact achieved through collaboration between industry, the scientific and technological community, and organisations within the national innovation ecosystem.

“This was a particularly significant moment for Hi-rEV, marking one of the final opportunities to publicly represent an initiative that has brought together partners from across the country for more than four years. The journey we have undertaken has demonstrated the value of collaboration in generating knowledge, developing new technological solutions and strengthening the competitiveness of Portuguese industry.” – Daniel Figueiredo, Executive Board Member of Palbit.

Commitment to Portuguese industry

Through its leadership of the Hi-rEV Agenda, Palbit reaffirms its commitment to research, technological development and strategic collaboration, contributing to a Portuguese industry that is more competitive, sustainable and better equipped to meet the challenges of future mobility and manufacturing.
