Hi-rEV 2024 Conference: A Landmark of Innovation and Knowledge in the Automotive Sector

On December 5th, the Hi-rEV 2024 Conference, under the theme Shaping the Future of Automotive Components, transformed the Cruise Terminal at the Port of Leixões into a true stage for innovation and collaboration. Organized by major academic and industrial institutions, this event brought together leaders, experts and professionals from the automotive sector to explore the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of automotive components.

Daniel Figueiredo, Executive Director of Palbit, kicked off the event with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between academia and industry. Later, he was part of the panel New Challenges and Trends in Additive Manufacturing, alongside figures such as Raynald Joly (Horse), Júlio Grilo (Simoldes Plásticos) and Luís Santos (Erofio), moderated by Ana Reis (FEUP).
